Orphans can not achieve their goals and be successful.

Family plays a crucial role in our life. It is the first social institute where we obtain upbringing, love and support. There are a lot of different situations in which it seems to you to be impossible to go on, but you don´t give up as your family supports you. What about children who are grown up without parents? Nowadays there a lot of orphans who are unable to achieve that little something in life and to be successful? That is an indisputable fact that there are poor conditions to develop in orphanages and, to crown it all, they don´t obtain enough parental affection and care. So can orphans achieve their goals and live a full happy life?

I have a strong conviction that it doesn’t matter where you were grown up or who raised you if you are a hardworking and purposeful person you can achieve all your objectives. Nothing can oppose you. There are a lot of examples which can prove my point of view. The whole and affectionate family is a good start to have a successful life, but there are a lot of celebrities who grew up in orphanages. Coco Chanel, Yuri Shatunov and Pirs Brosnan had a difficult childhood without their parents; nevertheless they became famous and successful.

However, some people consider that orphans are aggressive and aren´t ambitious. Most of them have bad genetics and tend to follow approximately in their parent´s footsteps; to be a drug addict or drinker.

I strongly disagree with this counterargument; it depends on a person who he would become. For example, Mike Tyson had very bad genetics; his mother died of a drug overdose and he was surrounded by criminals. Nevertheless, he managed to become an excellent boxer and be successful.

To sum up, all these disadvantages of bringing up in orphanages adversely affect on children and even are supposed to ruin their life. Nevertheless, it doesn´t mean that orphans are unsuccessful or can´t achieve their goals, to be happy and live a full life. Conversely, orphans have a burning desire and a strong motivation to get out of the orphanage´s severe conditions and realize their potential.
