Is it difficult to find a true friend? What can end friendship? “Friend” it is only one word but how much sense it contains. This word for me always associates with support, reliability and a big amount of secrets. How difficult is it to find true friends? Is it possible to have a lot of true friends?     I am convinced that to find even one true friend is almost impossible as nowadays people only think of themselves. It calls selfishness and in real friendship this feeling cannot exist. A true friend should be ready to listen, to support and to keep secrets. A selfish person always wants to say something and never wants to listen to, moreover, she/he recalls you only when she/he is in trouble and wants to get a piece of advice or to take solace in you. When she/he is doing well you become unnecessary and you´re being forgotten , and so it will continue until you get tired of it.   People used to get, get and get, but never give anything back. This “concept” ...
Reflection note The semester comes to the end, to summarize it I would like to note that our lessons were really interesting and useful. During the semester we carried out different tasks which help us to develop not only our writing skills but also another aspect of English language. We have learned to make up stories; to make references correctly and to find information from variable sources. I was thoroughly delightful to read exciting articles in Guardian paper. Also I found out some new internet dictionaries which were useful for me. Moreover, I admired when  Natalya Yurievna  shared different websites with us about how to improve our conclusions and etc. May be it will be better for us to watch more videos in English, perhaps, it can be news. After watching it it would be good to write summary in the way we did after reading the article. Thank you very much for this semester, Natalya Yurievna , I was delightful with getting such an experience in writing.
Summary. The title of this article immediately catches my attention. The article «Teenage girl kills herself 'after Instagram poll' in Malaysia» written by Jamie Fullerton is devoted to the problem of the increasing social influence on the current generation. It has reached to this point that our future actions and even lives are decided by social followers. First, the author tells us a real story which happened in Malaysia. Teenage girl commits a suicide after survey results in Instagram. She asked if she should die or not, and after the 69% followers voted for her death she killed herself. Jamie emphasizes that our society is absolutely addicted to social networks; they are so obsessed that are ready to give followers  a right to decide their fate. There is also another issue that the author raises. I am absolutely shocked and concerned how people can be so cruel as they were able to stop her from committing a suicide, however they not only ceased but even abetted a ...
The story written by Anastasia Vins and Tereza Zhamkotsyan. “Court is in session”, said the judge, “Gloria Brown, a victim of crime, please, stand up and testify.” She slowly went to the tribune and started talking: “Well… It happened a month ago, on the 24th of September. I was coming home after work and decided to get a cup of coffee at the local coffee shop on the 6th Avenue. When I was waiting for my order, he sat in front of me and started a nice talk. He seemed to me quite friendly and even a little bit shy.” “Tell in details what you were talking about“, said the lawyer. “Nothing important. He just complimented me and asked me for a little walk. I agreed”, she sobbed and continued speaking, “Since that day, every evening he met me after work, but on the 5th of November he didn’t come. So I decided to track down his location by his phone and saw that he was at his country house. I tried to call him but he didn’t answer. I thought it would be a nice idea to surprise him. I bought...
Report 1.      John Gray 2.      Gender and sexuality in ELT – inclusive education vs. queer https://clck.ru/FYhNQ 3.      This session caught my attention immediately as in recent days I have heard too much news about LGBT. According to statistics LGBT students suffer from violence at school more often than non-LGBT students. Also students who are perceived not to conform to gender norms report a high prevalence of humiliation. In Spain as in some European countries this problem remains urgent. Speaker retold us a Spanish film “My inner boy” and gave other examples of LGBT that had to keep quiet and shut up about their true identity. They eager to be recognized and to express themselves. 4.      It would be interesting to know are there any special schools for LGBT.
Reflection note To summarize our semester I would like to note that our lessons were interesting and useful. We learn the structure of the five paragraphs essay and learn how to write a summary. I am thoroughly delightful to learn about an amazing newspaper Guardian; it turns to be noteworthy newspaper. Also I found out some new internet dictionaries which were useful for me. Moreover, I admire when Natalya Yurievna shares different websites with us about how to improve our conclusions and etc. I would like our essays to be checked with all points, especially grammar, as it would be useful to get a remark for you. And, moreover, I would like to have some tasks from your books (there are so amazing!) during the lessons.     As for the next semester, I would like to know new interesting sources about writing and how to enrich our vocabulary. May be there are some new   techniques which are useful for us, I am interested in it very much. Thank you ver...
Essay Orphans can not achieve  their goals and be successful. Family plays a crucial role in our life. It is the first social institute where we obtain upbringing, love and support. There are a lot of different situations in which it seems to you to be impossible to go on, but you don´t give up as your family supports you. What about children who are grown up without parents? Nowadays there a lot of orphans who are unable to achieve that little something in life and to be successful? That is an indisputable fact that there are poor conditions to develop in orphanages and, to crown it all, they don´t obtain enough parental affection and care. So can orphans achieve their goals and live a full happy life? I have a strong conviction that it doesn’t matter where you were grown up or who raised you if you are a hardworking and purposeful person you can achieve all your objectives. Nothing can oppose you. There are a lot of examples which can prove my point of view. T...
